~5 minutes
Create your investor account using your company email address. Provide your organisation's legal name and basic details. Your account is reviewed by the UNOC team, and once approved you will receive your login credentials by email.
Several days
Your Expression of Interest covers six structured sections. You can save progress and return at any time before the window closes. All six sections must be complete before you can submit.
1–2 business days
A non-refundable application fee of USD 1,000 (or equivalent UGX) is required before you can submit your EOI. Make a direct bank transfer to the UNOC Stanbic Bank account and upload your proof of payment in the portal.
Instant
Once all six sections are complete and the application window is still open, click Submit to finalise your EOI. You will receive a unique reference number (KIP-EOI-YYYY-NNNN) confirming your submission.
~4 weeks
After the window closes, the Technical Committee (TC) reviews and scores all submitted EOIs. The TC may shortlist your application, request clarification, or mark it as not shortlisted. Shortlisted applications proceed to the Land Allocation Committee (LAC).
~4–8 weeks after TC
The Land Allocation Committee makes a recommendation, which the Executive Committee (ExCo) ratifies. Successful investors receive a Letter of Intent (LOI) followed by a formal land lease agreement for their allocated plot.
Quick answers about the application process.
